Images are another way to express things, just as we do through words or music. Through images we can feel emotion, gain knowledge, understand someone and so much more. Teaching students to look deeper into an image and see these things is one of our many jobs as educators. We can do this through asking questions and having meaningful discussions or even by creating images and telling others what we were showing in our images. I believe that teaching with images is a great way to not only teach students to dig deeper but also a great way to change up the learning style and activities every once in a while.

Of the four resources mentioned in chapter 4, I have used them all and I can say they are all very useful. For my assignments this week I used Canva for my infographic, which was AMAZING. I was so simple, and had plenty of customizable options. For creating an image to teach, I actually used my cricut app. This worked so well, I just designed what I needed took a screen shot and cropped the image to make it clean. This worked so well because I had full freedom to make what I needed with many options. I did a little family tree and an explanation of what it was. I thought it seemed simple, but effective.
